Rakes Of Broadstairs
A ceilidh dance by Alison Rowley, written in 2024 and first danced in a family ceilidh at Broadstairs Folk Week. It’s loosely inspired by the English country dance ‘Rakes Of Rochester’ (first published in 1748). This dance is a little simpler and more appropriate for a family ceilidh!
